How to delete a ClaimBell account permanently, and what happens to its data.

1. Delete in the app

Sign in, open Settings > Data and privacy, choose Delete account, and type DELETE to confirm. If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app, write to hi@claimbell.com from the email address the account uses, with the subject "ClaimBell account deletion".

2. Before you delete

• Export any family data you want to keep; the Owner can export the whole family as one JSON file.
• If you own a family, transfer Owner or delete that family first.
• If you have a store subscription, cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first. Deleting the account does not cancel store billing.

3. What happens immediately

We clear the account's email and sign-in identity, revoke every session and registered device, end the family membership and stop account-linked delivery, in one step. A deleted account cannot be restored by signing in again.

4. Shared family records

Family records belong to the family and are controlled by its Owner. Deleting a member account does not erase the people, dates, jobs or reminders that stay in the shared space. Ask the Owner to delete specific records; an Owner can delete the whole family before deleting the Owner's own account.

5. What remains

• Encrypted backups hold a residual copy for up to three months (7 daily, 4 weekly and 3 monthly snapshots) and are used only for disaster recovery.
• Consent, security, billing and tax records stay where the law requires, isolated from normal product use.

6. Manual requests and confirmation

For a request by email, include only what identifies the account. Never send a password, a card number or an action link. We check that the request comes from the account's email address, and we confirm when it is done or explain any retention the law requires.
